In this third and last post dedicated to Puglia, I put other cars just as interesting and specific difficulties encountered during the journey. No lack of surprises. Unfortunately, my trip is not for reasons of time Foggia. But in the few minutes at Foggia to take the SITA bus or car, I could see his fleet, quite different and special. A few pictures have fled, but always too little respect to the various types of bus lines at the ATAF. Another leg of our trip was Troia (FG) and even here there have been surprises!
IVECO 580.12.21 TURBOCITY ATAF-S FOGGIA
just returned from San Giovanni Rotondo, we went to the station, ready for a visit of Troia (FG). But in these few minutes, we came across with this Iveco 580 Turbocity in service on line 4. Very rarely ever see a car run on the suburban line 4, line where cars always run cities. Now the Turbocity nell'ATAF counted on the fingers of one hand. In addition to this, car 145, also runs the 148, a city 480 4-door, the only 480 working at the ATAF now only used for racing and ran a school, and another 580 suburban like this, the car 147.

The other photo is touched at one of the many Cityclass Cursor ATAF. But this car, the 220, can be drawn deception. In fact, despite the third back door, this is a 591, then a suburban CityClass! In fact, they are easy to find even on city buses. At Foggia are very numerous versions Cityclass Gasoline and natural gas. One peculiarity: 8 hours Cityclass Cursor belonging all'ATAF were originally intended to ATAC in Rome. 8 In addition to these, other Voith gearboxes always intended to ATAC, were sold to other provinces of Bari and Puglia.
IVECO 370.10.25 DRIVING SCHOOL FOGGIA
Here's a nice picture today (taken before sunrise, about 6 hours). This Iveco 370 10 meters of the early '80s, now belonging to the driving school "4 wheels" of Foggia, is a former car SITA. Could belong to the division of power or of Foggia. In fact, on the side of the car you can see the remains of the old symbol of SITA: the eagle in flight. Lately the car was partially restored. The roof has been repainted and some windows had been repaired. It would be nice to do with driving one of these beauties ...
Menarini 201 / 0 LU ex ATC BOLOGNA n.5001
In the early afternoon on time for the start of racing schools, arrive in town of Troy, a few kilometers from Foggia. As a service school ran (and still runs) the legend of Italian TPL: A Menarini 201 / 0 LU former coach of 5001 ATC Bologna dated 1979. The car was sold to Troy in 2003, along with another Menarini 201 / 0 LU, the 5016 car. Unfortunately the 5016 has recently had some problems too, and now sits in the shed, set aside and used for the removal of spare parts for the 5001. Despite the beauty of almost 32 years of honorable service, Menarini 201 / 0 Bologna (the first few that have started circulating in Italy) can continue to grind km for a long time.
