The urban service AMAT Palermo Sicily

conclude the urban part of Sicily with the AMAT Palermo, a company founded in 1964 that manages the local LPT. Unfortunately due to the limited time available I could not turn the city as I wanted, so I just concentrated in the area of \u200b\u200bPalermo Centrale station, from where most of the trunk lines.

interesting there is also the terminus of John Lennon's Square, where there are many lines of AST and some suburban town line dell'AMAT, including the line 102 that connects the central station with its plaza John Lennon . The AMAT has about 500 buses are divided into two deposits (Brancaccio and so Roccazzo) quite different, both among the models in lengths. Indeed Palermo bus can meet any length from small 8 meters to 18 meters articulated through the classic 12 meters and 10.5 meters. The cars run 18 meters above the lines 101 and 102 that are most used by passengers, reinforced during peak times even cars from 12 meters.

IVECO 490.18.29 TURBOCITY UR n.1513

cars dating we can meet someone, especially during school hours, at least according to my "short field of view ". I have observed un'Iveco 490 Turbocity UR articulated 18-meter, equipped with air conditioning.

Durante l'orario scolastico I have only two cross-pieces, the 1525 (pictured), and 1519.

CACCIAMALI TCM890 n.1547

In that area are very much on the bus very small size (8-9 meters). The sample in question (the only visa within a couple of hours) is a Cacciamali TCM890, arrived at the end of 1996. I was very impressed with the sound of the ZF of this medium, which is the same one used by the media 80 years: the ZF 4HP 500.

BMB 321 U n.1582

IVECO 491.12.29 CITYCLASS CURSOR n.1907

Molto usati (come nella maggior parte delle città italiane) are Cityclass Cursor, and the more recent ones with the logo Irisbus, arrived in 2006, and older with the Iveco logo arrived in 2002-2003. In this city moving Cityclass in all versions: short by 10.5 meters, 12 meters from normal and 18-meter articulated version, use the center line.

IRISBUS Citelis n.1960

The means are the most recent Irisbus Citelis, arrived in 2008 to rejuvenate a bit 'the fleet, in fact I assume that they have replaced almost all effeuno Turbocity and left.
can find them both in the normal length of 12 meters (used here as a reinforcement on line 102), in 18-meter articulated version. Compared to most
Citelis seen in Italy, they have a change of Palermo Voith.

Internet for free, the City is active (source Messaggero Veneto 09/03/2011)

San Vito al Tagliamento. The City of San Vito al Tagliamento is activated to ensure the center and in other areas of free internet and wireless. The service will start after the placement by the company Assomax Campoformido, an antenna for the signal to Casarsa Wimax, which will cover almost the whole district prisons. The Councillor for the Environment, Tiziano Centis, has already taken the first contacts with the company and the city council will discuss the petition on March 28 wi-fi and an agenda. "The arrival of WiMAX in the territory is an opportunity for San Vito - says Centis - Taking advantage of the signal with small antennas can be spread in the center, not just at a lower cost than the installation of antennas for ad hoc. Councillor announces: "The comparison with the firm will continue to examine the costs and how to activate the service." The antenna of building Brinis in Casarsa, will be placed not just passed the rock supervision.
The signal will cover a radius of 15-20 km (to check if the area Morsano will, for the time being reached or not). Assomax, a company that has the concession for the WiMAX signal in the region, plans to install other in the province, so as to cover it in its entirety. Services (in addition to broadband Internet, VoIP phone and there are many others) will be activated by households and business (the Consortium ZIPRA has already activated its time to get favorable conditions for their companies). But the signal is "workable" even by those municipalities who want the benefit of its citizens and tourists, which exploits the signal in public places. For this purpose, inter alia, incentives should be available from other sources.
The idea is so early, but the interest has spread. In San Vito, as in other Municipalities, was recently promoted a petition by a committee formed to urge their local authority to provide internet wi-fi. "It was signed - remember Mark Eramo, one of the promoters - from around 140 citizens." This result was achieved in a few hours of collection: exceeding the threshold of 100 signatures to the document allows you to joining the city council, which will take place March 28. It will not be the sole arbiter on the Internet. "In that session - continued Centis - the majority will present an agenda that essentially follows the guidelines of the petition. In the meantime, let's move sure how to activate the service, given that it will present the opportunity to conditions that appear favorable. "
