Anche loro vengono utilizzati soprattutto durante l'orario scolastico e sono dotati del vecchio display verde, come i 490 e i più recenti BMB321. RENAULT AGORA' 12 n.1628

Una rarità che circola in pochissime località d'Italia (ricordo solo Palermo e Brescia) è il Renault Agorà, il papà dell'Irisbus Citelis. Girano nelle versioni 12 metri e 18 metri articolati (arrivati qualche anno più tardi rispetto ai 12 metri).
Ho fatto anche un giro a bordo di un'Agorà 18 sulla linea 102 e posso dire che non sono male: abbastanza confortevoli e fluidi e non "scattano" alla partenza.

BMB 231 C n.1866

Nel 2006 arrivano in AMAT anche i BredaMenarini 231 C, molto utilizzati soprattutto nelle zone centrali della città. Vedendo pochissimi TCM890, si può intuire che i 231 abbiano sostituito la maggior parte dei vecchi Cacciamali.

Di altri mezzi lunghi troviamo anche un'Iveco 480.10 Turbocity del 1991 e, vedendo da una foto presa online, anche qualche Inbus U210FT, nello stesso stile di quelli che circolano Trapani.
