Models Bus: The story dell'Inbus 210

Among these manufacturers were also the body of Simon De Osoppo and Breda Railway Construction (BCF) of Pistoia. Both Fiema establish a working relationship with the drought of Vittorio Veneto, which, at the same time, he had made a new chassis from 12 feet with the rear engine called Siccar 176L. These three companies, the Uninauto Sofer of Pozzuoli, signed an agreement to create a consortium for the production of a new urban bus standard. Thus was born the consortium Inbus ( In industries Cars bus).
The first models Inbus were presented at the Milan Fair in 1976, using the chassis and body BCF 176L Siccar and De Simon. Above all, the BCF prototype, called A04, aroused great interest in the result, so much so that the consortium Inbus decided to take it as a basis for the first model to be built in series, together with the draft legislation D01, Suburban 2-door version.
Inbus In 1978 he had a full range. A04 to the project, was presented an alternative, differentiated by the back door, now equal in size to the other: the A05 project. These acronyms were used only as internal codes for the project, while the official designation of the A04 and A05 became "Inbus U210, and D01 was" Inbus S210. The letter signified the type of media (U = Urban, S = Suburban), while the figures indicated the horses of the engine. Both Inbus U210, the Inbus S210, an engine, Fiat 8200.13, D851.2 gearbox Voith Diwa. Were then made by Inbus also two intercity buses: the Inbus I210, always made to frame Siccar 176L, and Inbus I330, I210 version dell'Inbus raised, and built on a chassis Siccar 166L with more powerful engine. Since 1981 the
Inbus 210 were built on new chassis Siccar 177L, slightly modified compared to its predecessor, with the new engine from 203 hp Fiat Unic 8220.12. U210.80 were called, and S210.80 I210.80.

In the same year were made to the ACT of Cagliari, 15 trolleybus arising from the model Inbus U210.80 called Inbus F140. This was the only model ever produced by trolleybuses Inbus.
In 1984 Inbus presents a new range of buses. Was born Inbus U210FT (Federtrasporti), which was replacing the Inbus U210.80. That plea was presented with a new chassis, called Siccar 177 / 4 L, further development of Siccar 177L. The engine is kept Inbus U210FT Unic Fiat 8220.12, and the change Voith Diwa D851.2. The other versions were updated: the Inbus S210.80 dall'Inbus S210FT was replaced, while a little hard the Inbus I210FT, now replaced by new Inbus I240, made the new chassis Siccar 178L.

Inbus Also in 1984, decided to build the means of length of 10 meters. This medium was called Inbus U210FT-N, built on a chassis Siccar 283N. Also followed the suburban version S210FT-N and N-version trunk I210FT, produced by the sofer.
Inbus In 1985, he decided to introduce articulated versions, called Inbus AU280FT (A = Article) built on a chassis with engine Siccar 383.28 MAN. Also followed the versions AS280FT suburban and interurban AID280FT (D = Derivative). The
Inbus was a great success, but the BCF in 1985 intended to transform the consortium in una S.p.A.
